About us
Tharangambadi (formerly Tranquebar), a coastal town in Tamil Nadu, was among the worst affected by the 2004 tsunami, which claimed thousands of lives and destroyed homes, families, and livelihoods. In response, Hope Foundation, a grassroots NGO working since 1991 across 100+ cities in India, stepped in to provide relief, rehabilitation, and long-term support through education, healthcare, counselling, and livelihood programs.
